Small businesses in Virginia that I love
Virginia is my home and over the last few years I have found more and more people and places to love in my home state. Today I share 4 small businesses in Virginia that I love, because good things are meant to be shared.
This Virginia Dare Chambray dress is my go to dress to wear to party because of its' classic wrap around feature that ties nicely into a bow. I feel feminine and free when I wear it because I can twirl and dance with ease. Rebecca Murray, a Virginia native is the designer behind these made in Virginia dress.
Petite Lou Lou, located in Purcellville is always one of my first choices for brunch in Northern Virginia. Their menu is well curated with their French specialties (because I'm not a fan of menus that are so extensive and varied it's difficult to figure out what the restaurant is good at). Aside from their delicious sweet and savory crepes, I especially like their Saumon dish with 2 local eggs and pickled onions and dill.
For everyday wear I like dressing in Mimi Miller basics. Her pieces have clean lines, easy to pair silhouettes and breathable fabrics. Last summer I wore this dress more than any other in my closet because of its' relaxed fit.
Lastly, a dreamy place to visit in the Spring and all summer long is Field of Flowers located in Purcellville, VA. It is a charming place complete with rows of floral varieties and dancing butterflies around the blooms. You can pick your own blooms with containers that have been conveniently provided fro visitors in a shed on the property.
